Huang Po-Chih: Waves, an exhibit by the Taiwanese artist, opens at the Hayward Gallery on Weds. Waves uses the personal stories of workers to investigate globalised trade, with a focus on East Asia’s textile industry.

Thurs is the launch of Women by Women, ActionAid UK’s inspiring outdoor exhibition at Brunswick Square Gardens which champions stereotype-smashing women in front of & behind the camera.

It’s also the launch of the City Festival of Music, Invention & Knowledge - a two-week programme of live music & performance celebrating the City of London. A few of the festival highlights are totally free to attend.

Fri’s the launch of Since ’89, a fun-sounding, three-day photography exhibit at the Copeland Gallery which will showcase the winding journey of the UK snowboard scene over the last 35 years.

Mark Black History Month at Guildhall Art Gallery this Sat with an event celebrating the work of artist Uzo Egonou & his dynamic & colourful painting of Tower Bridge. There will be arty activities for kids.
