Dear Cheapskater,

I have a little bit of news to share with you all this morning... I’m having a baby! I’m taking a couple of months off, so this is the last intro letter you’ll receive from me for a short while. Cheapskate isn’t going anywhere, though, as Sophia - my lovely mat cover - will be taking the reins and sharing London’s best free events with you each week as usual! She’ll introduce herself properly in this space next Monday.

I love the Cheapskate community so much and know I will miss this part of my life loads over the coming months. I am so grateful to you for all for the amazing support you’ve shown this newsletter, from telling your friends about us, to entering competitions, responding to our polls and joining our members’ club. Writing this newsletter each week (and sending it out to almost 30k people!) has truly been the biggest pleasure and privilege.

On another note, do let me know if you have any first-time-parent tips as I will definitely need them!
