☘️ London Repair Week, getting zen & Hip Hop Paddy’Oke
The capital’s best free events from March 11-17th
Dear Cheapskater,
In my opinion, it really is the most wonderful time of the year. Temperatures are rising, trees are beginning to blossom and spring is truly on its way! Plus, historically, March/April has always been a great period for fab free events - and we’re excited to keep sharing the very best of them with you.
On that note, we’re looking for new partners to collabrate with this season. If you work with a brand or are running an event which feels like a good fit for our audience of 16,000+ Londoners (and London lovers!) please hit reply to this email and we can share our media/partnerships pack with you. Happy to answer any questions too.
Have a sun-dappled week,
Kate x
PS. Congratulations to our reader John O, who won the pair of Omeara London gig tickets that we promoted in last week’s newsletter. Scroll down for another fantastic, free-to-enter competition…

And for dessert...
💌 I think my fellow Cheapskates will enjoy the (free!) Nomad for Less newsletter, which is packed with insider insights to help you become a budget-savvy globetrotter.
💌 I also really like Greenpeace’s Unearthed email, which features all the latest climate/environmental news, & Curious Peoples - a five-min escape into the world of art, history & science.
🍀 Nancy Spains, a new Irish pub in Shoreditch, is marking St Patrick’s Day this Saturday by serving up 2,500 pints of stout for just £2.50 each all day long.
🍿 Seize Them!, a new British comedy road movie starring Aimee Lou Wood & Nick Frost, is out soon - & you can book a free cinema ticket to watch it on March 25 here. Locations include the Southbank, Greenwich, Hackney, Brixton & Fulham.
💌 If you’re like me and love newsletters, but get a bit overwhelmed by your busy inbox, you might want to try Meco. It’s a free app available on iOS & desktop that’s specifically built for reading newsies (will that ever catch on?). Try it here!
🧦 My friends know how highly I value a good pair of socks - & you can really do no better than these. They might be on the expensive side (& geared towards men!) but I’m still obsessed.
📺 If you’re looking for a TV rec, I loved this new dark comedy on iPlayer.
